Commission for Trask Tylan of his red fox character. This is the second time I've hand drawn a Hawaiian shirt, which, like camouflage, is somewhat time intensive (but you can always tell when a pattern is digitally pasted in!)

Are the insects on the wall of any special significance, or are they just part of the background?

I didn't know if anyone would bring up the insects! They are kissing bugs, insects which transmit Chagas disease (their inclusion is my esoteric way of invoking suffering and death).

Sorry for the late reply! The CDC puts together some really good information for diseases like this, and they're somewhat famous for all their life cycle drawings :) www.cdc.gov/parasites/chagas/
